You don’t need a packed itinerary.
You don’t need the goats to perform.
You just want to sit with goats.
Spend approximately one hour inside our covered goat area with the herd of goats, a cup of treats, and plenty of time to watch their personalities unfold.
Stockton, New Jersey · Advance registration required · Approximately 45–60 minutes

Some experiences need a long list of activities.
This one has goats.
Feed them. Sit near them. Take pictures. Watch them investigate your pockets, argue over absolutely nothing, and return to whatever very important goat business they were handling before you arrived.
Summer Goat Fun is relaxed and unstructured by design. There is no class, presentation, or scheduled performance.
You are simply coming inside the goat area to spend time with the herd.

Each guest receives a small cup of goat treats.
Treat time happens near the beginning of the session and gets the herd’s attention quickly.
The goats know exactly what those cups mean, so have your camera ready.
Our staff will show you how to feed the goats safely and help everyone get settled inside the area.
The treats may not last long.
Your new popularity may not last much longer.

Once treat time is over, the goats return to their regularly scheduled lives.
You are welcome to:
-
Walk around and visit them
-
Sit near the herd
-
Offer pets and scratches
-
Take pictures
-
Ask our staff questions
-
Find a hay bale and simply watch them be goats
There is no correct way to spend your session.
Move around, settle into one spot, or follow the personalities that interest you most.

You stop what you are doing whenever you see a goat.
You would happily spend an hour watching animals without needing constant entertainment.
You want to meet goats up close rather than looking at them from outside a fence.
You understand that animals have their own personalities, preferences, and plans.
You believe that sitting near goats sounds like a perfectly reasonable way to spend an afternoon.
If you read that and thought, “Obviously,” you are probably our kind of person.

Will the goats come over to me?
Treat time usually attracts plenty of immediate attention. After the treats are finished, the goats are free to move throughout the area and decide how they would like to interact. Some may stay nearby, while others may return to resting or spending time with the herd.
Will I get one-on-one time with a goat?
Individual interactions often happen, but they cannot be guaranteed. The goats roam freely, and we allow them to choose where they go and who they visit.
Can we hold the goats?
No. Summer Goat Fun features our growing and adult goats. This is a feeding, petting, observing, and hanging-out experience rather than a goat-holding session.

Is this only for children? - SPECIFY AGE
Not at all. This experience is especially popular with adults, couples, friends, solo visitors, and anyone who genuinely enjoys being around animals.
Is this a farm tour?
No. The session takes place primarily inside our covered goat area and is centered on spending time with the herd.
Is the experience structured?
Only briefly. Staff will welcome the group, explain safe interaction, and guide treat time. The remainder of the session is intentionally relaxed and unstructured.
What should I wear?
Closed-toe shoes are required. Wear clothing appropriate for an animal area, tie back long hair, and remove dangling jewelry before entering.
